How long does it take to work through this resource? Do I need to access the units in order?

The different units of this resource could be used as needed, however they are usually best approached in a linear fashion, as they build upon each other in a logical sequence. Having said that it might be possible to dip into particular sections, or skip some if they are not relevant to you.

Assuming that you read through all of the module text, complete the activities and access other core materials (e.g. watching videos), we estimate that it will take approximately 4 hours to work through the whole resource.

This is only a rough estimate, and of course the required time might vary based on factors such as your reading/working speed, how long you spend on the activities and whether you already have some familiarity with the material or not. Additional information on the length of each unit is given on their introduction pages.

Using a document to track your learning and plans for practice

We recommend using a document (e.g. Word or Google) to track your takeaway learning from this resource. This could involve keeping notes and making plans for your tutoring practice under structured headings.
