You can embed YouTube videos into your module by following these steps, starting by clicking on the plug icon in the RCE.

In the rich content editor, the chevron to the right of the 'apps' button has been clicked - the option 'view all' is shown.

Then: View all > YouTube > search for your video (use key words if you have found it first on YouTube) > select video > select size of embed.

To add YouTube to page select the edit icon again and then decide where you want to place the YouTube on the page, select the sort of plug icon. This should open up the all apps button and you can select YouTube from that. Type in your YouTube title and you get a selection. Here we can find the title and press embed. Usually embed medium sized and just press save and if we look at the page now, we can see the YouTube video is embedded on the Canvas page.

Note: to embed other types of third party video, you might need to use a html code to embed it - this can usually be found under the 'share' settings of online video (note that other materials can be embedded in this way, including google documents, slides and forms).
